MacHack ends 20 year run

At the end of this year's ADHOC Conference, Expotech announced that this was the last conference. Due to dropping attendance, higher expenses, and fewer sponsors, the show could no longer be sustained.

I've spent the last few days at ADHOC 2005 (also known as MacHack 20). Like previous MacHacks, it's lots of caffeine-fueled fun with lack of sleep & cool hardware & software. I've posted some pictures here.

Mac Support Store announces Partner Program

The Mac Support Store has announced a new partner program for companies that offer an online service or manufacture a product that users of Apple products would want to buy.

There’s a short form at the Mac Support Store site for submitting your application. If chosen, you’ll be listed on the site’s Partners menu. Jeff Graber, CEO of the Mac Support Store, says they’re offering the Partner Program for two reasons.

Apple will provide 30,000 iBooks to Broward County public schools
