Mac x86 software is already available
Many Mac developers have already ported their software to x86, and according to some who have the Intel development kit, it's the easiest transition in Apple's history. I can confirm that I was able to port Cocoa application by simply changing the processor architecture flags in XCode 2.1. I don't have an x86 development system but I did get to try one at ADHOC. It's by far the fastest Mac I've seen and the application I ported worked exactly as expected.

Intel's CPU roadmap for 2006
It's interesting to compare Apple's attitude vs. Intel's towards developers & the press. Intel details their processor roadmap for the next several years, while we have to guess what Apple will release in the next month. Of course that can backfire when a CPU is delayed or fails to match their promised specs, but it gives their developers a sense of security in their plans for the future.

Version 3.7 has been redesigned with a simpler, much more intuitive user interface and new "Dock-like" behavior. In addition, Apple's new Mighty Mouse can now be used to control iClip. This upgrade, which is free to all registered users, also features several bug fixes and other improvements. iClip is priced at $19.95 US and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
