MC Development has released PicSlide, an addictive new picture puzzle game for the iPhone & iPod Touch. Start with one of the included photos or one of your own, slice it into blocks, shuffle them and try to put it back together. PicSlide features 4 difficulty levels and two board sizes.

Unlike the popular 15 puzzle, with PicSlide there are no empty spaces. You must slide entire rows & columns to unshuffle it. You can play a quickie in easy mode or try impossible if you have lots of time. If the 4×4 board is too easy, try the 8×8 board. Dingo Games, announced today the Mac release of their swashbuckling epic The Three Musketeers: The Game. Available exclusively online, the game closely follows the plot of the original Three Musketeers novel. The classic adventure story and the rarely used setting of 17th century France make this game a unique experience.

Players take on the role of the young gentleman d’Artagnan as he sets off for Paris in hopes of becoming a Musketeer. Soon after arriving, d’Artagnan finds himself in duels with each of the famous three Musketeers: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. By fighting alongside them, he is able to prove that he has the heart of a Musketeer and is accepted by them as a friend. When the evil Cardinal Richelieu launches a plot to disgrace the queen, only d’Artagnan and his three friends can defend her honor.

Created by independent developer Dingo Games, the game features an old school top-down perspective with hand drawn 2d graphics. Players gather loot, duel enemies, fire flintlocks, and play mini-games as they make their way through the main story. In addition, numerous side-quests exist for players who want to explore the entire game.

It took 165 years, but this classic tale has finally been faithfully adapted into a video game. The Windows version is currently in beta and will be released shortly. For more information on The Three Musketeers: The Game or to download the free demo, go to www.dingogames.com/three-musketeers-game/.

ROCHESTER, New York — July 10, 2008 — Ambrosia Software, Inc. today announced that three games are available on the new Apple App Store. Aki Mahjong, mondo Solitaire and Mr. Sudoku were all designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch.

“Apple ignited the computer revolution,” said Andrew Welch, Ambrosia’s el Presidente. “We’re happy to be on-board this time around as they change the world again with the iPhone OS platform and the Apple App Store.”

Aki Mahjong combines the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong with an enchanting journey across Japan. The principle is simple: a number of ivory tiles are arranged on a beautiful Japanese backdrop. The goal is to make all of the tiles disappear by matching them to similar tiles. Players can easily browse Aki’s levels by simply flicking a finger, thanks to the Core Animation-powered interface. Tap the level to select and the game is ready to play.

mondo Solitaire’s beautiful, crisp graphics enables players to easily identify cards and assess their current move. With more than 100 included games, players are sure to find all their favorites and discover new games to enjoy. Using a familiar library search interface, games can be sorted and selected by name, style, favorites, and even popularity. The categorized interface makes it really easy to find the exact game to play.

Mr. Sudoku’s unique and innovative interface allows players to use a familiar input device to select digits – their own personal digits! Simply use a finger to draw the appropriate number and it is instantly converted into the actual number. Ensuring the strategy and brain-flexing doesn’t stop, there are four difficulty levels with thousands of different Sudoku puzzles for to choose from.

Ambrosia’s mobile games are designed to be true casual games to be played whenever and wherever, yet dismissed quickly to take phone calls or send messages. When finished, players tap on the game application’s icon and head right back into the action.

All three games are just $9.99 (US) each and available today from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore/
