Drachten, Netherlands – Bohemian Coding today is pleased to announce the release of Fontcase 1.5, a free update to their popular font manager. Fontcase has an intuitive and uncluttered interface; while it may look simplistic, there are a lot features built in. Fontcase 1.5 adds auto-activation, duplicates-detection and more while still keeping the focus of the application simple. Apple was kind enough to award Fontcase with an Apple Design Award this year and we’re confident the new Fontcase 1.5 will add further value for our customers.

Auto-activation works as one would expect without the need to install any plug-ins. Fontcase will automatically activate any missing fonts and also deactivate them again when Fontcase quits. As of version 1.5, Fontcase will now also periodically check the standard font folders to see if any fonts have been added lately. If they’re not present in the library, Fontcase will automatically import them.

It desirable to avoid activating the same font multiple times and yet it’s easy to get this wrong. Fontcase 1.5 helps by automatically warning you whenever this occurs and it’ll let you disable one of them easily. To make it easy to backup your library, Fontcase adds a new export feature that is smart enough to do only incremental backups of your library including any metadata in a universal XML file; we have no intention of locking you in.

Last but not least, Fontcase 1.5 dramatically reduces launch time and boosts the overall speed of the application significantly while at the same time reclaiming valuable disk space by better compressing cache files by a factor of 10. Especially users with big libraries will see a significant performance boost. We’ve also fixed several bugs from the previous versions and we’re confident our customers will appreciate the new Fontcase 1.5.

New features include:
* Often-requested auto-activation
* Automatic detection of duplicate font activations
* Automatic detection of newly installed fonts
* Incremental export of fonts and associated metadata
* Greatly enhanced speed when working with large libraries
* Several bugfixes

Minimum Requirements:
* Mac OS X Version 10.5 or higher
* Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel

Language Support:
English

Pricing and Availability:
Fontcase 1.5 is available as a full-featured demo. A single user license is 42.00 Euros ($55.00 USD). Contact us for a free NFR license if you want to give Fontcase a try or write a review.

London, Canada – Rocking Pocket Games today is pleased to announce the availability of Puppet Jump 3D 1.2, a game that can be only described as a cross between Little Big Planet and Doodle Jump for the iPhone. Lancaster, UK – Building on the success of the critical hit puzzle game, Chromixa, for iPhone and iPod touch, Pure Square Go is delighted to announce that update 1.1 is now available. The full list of upgrades are; 22 new puzzles (70 total), new “Time Challenge” mini game (4 total), OpenFeint integration for online leaderboards & achievements, compete for the fastest level completion time and shake to reset. But that’s not all. A Lite version has also been released.

Beginning life as a digital art project, Chromixa 1.1.1 is the enchanting result of designer Simon Watson’s fascination with light. Inspired by noted artists such as James Clar and James Turrell, Chromixa’s first incarnation was a real life installation built from 100s of red, green and blue LEDs, a micro-controller, plexiglass, and one very creative brain.

With the concept of physically interactive light mixing at its core, Chromixa has gone through many evolutions, reaching its zenith as an exciting new puzzle genre on the App Store. The simplicity of blending primary colours and fitting tangram-style geometric shapes together offers a uniquely stimulating and addictive interactive experience.

Arrange colored shapes of light to complete beautifully designed puzzles. Primary colors of red, green and blue are rotated, positioned and overlaid to create new tones as shapes overlap. Like a jigsaw of light, your goal is to arrange the shapes to fill an outline with a single color.

As you complete puzzles, the points you earn can be used to unlock fun arcade-style mini-games. Like all good puzzle titles, Chromixa is built upon a simple yet endlessly expandable concept, that unfurls to create progressively discerning challenges that are fun, beautiful and offer pleasing mental agility exercises for all ages.

Austin, Texas – Mac-Chi today is proud to announce WhoPaste’s first step in time and task integration. WhoPaste version 4.5 adds instant iCal To Dos. The new iCal To Dos can be created with just a control click on Snow Leopard or with a user configurable hot key on Leopard. Mac-Chi has also enhanced the underlying data model and simplified the installation process. The earlier two-step installation process has been replaced with the more familiar and customer-friendly ‘drop a file on a folder’ process.

“This is our first step in bringing full task and event capabilities to WhoPaste,” explains Steve Cronin, CEO of Mac-Chi. Snow Leopard users can easily create an iCal To Do by simply control clicking on any selected text. A small heads up display window opens to gather the user’s calendar and due date information and when it is disposed of the user is immediately returned to their process. For Leopard users there is a configurable hot key that permits them to create a To Do from any text on the clipboard. For those cases when you come up with brand new task, WhoPaste 4.5 delivers a single hot key for creating an iCal To Do. None of these actions require iCal to be running nor will they start iCal.

“When we analyzed our 2009 download and installation data we thought we could do better. So we asked our customers and testers to share their opinions. As a result of their feedback we’ve completely rewritten the installation process”, explained Steve. “The original two-step installation process sometimes led to confusion or abandonment, two of the deadly sins in the indie software world.” Version 4.5 now uses the familiar ‘drop-a-file’ mechanism.

Version 4.5 also implements a number of changes to the underlying data model paving the way for more sophisticated extraction rules to be deployed in the coming months. The new model is being implemented now in order to provide the basis for both the desktop and the upcoming iPhone version of WhoPaste.

WhoPaste provides a single universal hot key for creating a new contact in Address Book, Daylite, Entourage, or Google Contacts.

WhoPaste also provides contact extraction from raw text – simply select some text, control-click, and WhoPaste will extract the individual contact data elements automatically.

Additional WhoPaste features include: extraction of multiple contacts directly from spreadsheets, extensive support for Daylite including derived data and opportunity creation, duplicate detection, multiple group assignments, citation capability for data sourcing, international dialing ready phone formatting, pre-built Automator actions, AppleScriptability, and much more.

Minimum Requirements:
* Mac OS X Version 10.5 or later (Leopard & Snow Leopard Compatible)
* Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel
* 8.0 MB Hard Drive space

Pricing and Availability:
* WhoPaste 4.5 is available for $15.00 (USD) for a 1-Mac license
* 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, and 25 Mac licenses are available (2-Mac license is $20 USD)
* A free trial version is available for download
* The trial version allows saving 20 extracted contacts
