iCompositions, the World’s Largest GarageBand Community, today announced that every registered user will receive an unprecedented 1 Gigabyte of free space to upload their GarageBand compositions. iCompositions users who have purchased the “Super Star” account upgrade will receive a jaw-dropping 3 Gigabytes of space to upload their compositions.

In addition, iCompositions announced the launch of the largest online GarageBand Contest in history with prize values totaling more than $2500. Entitled “iCompose, iWin”, artists will participate in seven contests with chances to win prizes including a 40GB fourth generation iPod, two USB keyboards, Jam Pack, loops, GarageBand tutorials, and GarageBand books. iCompositions has set up a special website, iComposeiWin.com, to provide all specific details on the contest. Winners of contests ranging from Best Overall Song to Favorite Member will be selected by member nominations and polls. The contest begins today and ends August 27th.

iCompositions also announced iComposers.com, a system for its users to build their own template-based website. iComposers will be available next week with one free template. In the future, users will be able to purchase additional templates for $2.99.
