garage band won't work !!
I have a G4 imac 512 ram, and I purchased ilife. imovie, idvd, iphoto and itune are working fine, but garageband won't launch and there's no error message, it just jumps up and down for a short time in the dock. Called support numerous times, no solution. I reformmatted the drive and reinstalled all my apps, nothing. Please help....

Time may not be on your side
Apple's Support site notes that GarageBand will bounce a few times and then quit if the computer's clock is not set properly. Try using the "Get time from server" option in the Date/Time preferences in System Preferences to set the time correctly and then try again.
