“MACWORLD: iHome Media Centre revealed?

Only a few hours before the doors open to MacWorld SF and it looks like someone has leaked photos. I’m curious about the alternate spelling of “Centre”. But you can see for yourself. This is quite possibly the sub $500 iMac that everyone has been speculating about. These photos were mirrored at http://dms.tecknohost.com/macrumors/i/ihome/ supposedly from someone’s iDisk. Having worked as a booth person at MacWorld SF, it is quite possible someone snapped these last night during setup for the show using their cell phone. Most booth equipment is delivered by union workers, not actual booth staff.

    Are you serious.
These were debunked last week. You can debunk them yourself simply by visiting the link and looking at the pictures. They are fakety fake fake fake. You can see the printed fake ports for yourself and the phoney printed fake packaging overlay.

There is nothing to see here except some fakery.

Simply an amazing use of the word fake. Good frequency and interesting variations.

‘Centre’ is surely just the normal UK English spelling of the word?

Apple would never release a product with British spelling in the US - they’re more aware of localization issues.

no, not british spelling, english spelling. As in the english language, suggest you re-attend whatever schooling you slept through, or if awake, then try a better school :)

hmmmm, they are our allies, and remember we are just a rebellious colony. We are mostly british culturally with a smattering of the lesser European nations thrown in (italy, germany, france et al)

Apple would always release a properly localized item, never one localized for a different country. If this was seen in England or Canada, I’d believe it, but Apple wouldn’t have that at their own booth in a show in the US. Anyway, it’s already been proven false.
