The Camino project has worked to create a browser that is as functional and elegant as the computers it runs on. The Camino web browser is powerful, secure, and ready to meet the needs of all types of users while remaining simple and elegant in its design.
Unlike Firefox, which is cross-platform and uses Mozilla’s standard XUL user interface, Camino is Mac-only, is based on Cocoa, and takes advantage of Mac-specific features such as Rendezvous. However, Camino doesn’t support plugins & extensions.
Camino supports the majors plugins available.

Camino is my favorite Mac browser. It is fast, elegant and reliable. I decided one day to give it a try; since then, I have never gone back. It’s a beautiful browser on the Mac.
