Press release: ShowMacster 1.2 released
Offenburg, Germany - April 18, 2005 - Today E.R.S “Pleasant software for the people” released ShowMacster version 1.2. The overall stability and performance in this new version has been dramatically improved. It has been optimized for G4 and G5 CPUs with Alvitec engine. Due to the increased power, ShowMacster has now a much better movie support.
ShowMacster 1.2 is now compatible with iCAR and with the next version of iGlasses. Until the release of an upcomming new version of iGlasses, a preliminary workaround to solve the incompatibility is posted on the FAQs page of ShowMacsters website ( http://www.showmacster.com/faq.shtml ).
Version 1.2 has also received a German localization.
We recommend all users to update ShowMacster to version 1.2.
ShowMacster is an extension to Apple’s iChat AV which enables the user to stream pictures, Quicktime movies and live screen captures during video conferences.
ShowMacster is available for Mac OS X 10.3 and Mac OS X 10.4 and is priced at 15 Euro (about $20).
