MapMemo 2.0 released!
MapMemo 2 - Put your files on a Map and share it with others.
MapMemo is a simple but very unique software, that allows users to organize all kind of files on a map (image, scan, photo, drawing ..) via drag and drop. Files get linked as aliases to that map and leave a red pin there. Clicking on such a pin means opening the related file in it´s original application.
Version 2.0 adds the possibility to collect all files that are linked to a map in an archive, that can be transfered to another Mac or put on the web for download. This is a huge step forward, meaning that people can now create content, organized by location, and share it with others. To simplify the spread of location-based information MapMemo 2.0 can be used as a reader for free. Only if a user edits MapMemo files and has to save them more than 5 times, he gets kindly asked to pay a fee.

New features in version 2.0:
- Pack your MapMemo files and all linked files in the new Archive in order to share them with others.
- Drag Weblinks directly from your browser on the Map without having to save them on your computer.
- Use Textmemos to type some quick notes in MapMemo itself and add them to the Map.
- Relink files individually.
- Get extensive Help pages and a Tutorial in English(comes with the installer), French and German (download).
- New Cache, Undo and Redo, accepting different dpi-Resolution of the maps, smarter Icons …
Pricing und availability:
MapMemo is ready for download on our website http://www.mapmemo.com. It can be used as a Reader for MapMemo files without any limitations but it needs a 18€/18$ license fee if you want to edit and save a file more than 5 times.
