Kiel, Germany (8. May, 2005) – turingart is pleased to announce the immediate availability of ‘AB Transfer’ 1.5.1.
‘AB Transfer’ reads, converts and imports contact data from files into OS X’ address book. turingart’s solution imports comma separated data (CSV), TAB-separated data and ‘Act!’ DBF files.
Release 1.5.1 adds plaxo.com support. plaxo.com is a unique online service, which allows to keep contact data current ‘by magic’. Each time another plaxo registered user changes his contact data, saved contact data of connected address books is updated automatically.
Using ‘AB Transfer’, OS X users are now able to export contacts from their OS X address book and easily import contacts in plaxo.com.
‘AB Transfer’ now exports OS X contact data as
– Microsoft Excel files
– plaxo.com web address book imports
– WEB.DE web address book imports
– GMX web address book imports
Exporting data is done within seconds. Within minutes an import is set up and within a few more minutes, new records are inserted.
As a first class OS X citizen, ‘AB Transfer’ isn’t available for other operating system.
