The InterMapper Appliance includes the following:

[*] An Apple Mac mini, 1.25 GHz with a gigabyte of RAM and Mac OS X 10.4 (”Tiger”). Because it’s physically small, it is easy to install in nearly any network environment. Its powerful processor lets it monitor thousands of devices.
[*] A pre-installed, unlimited-device license of InterMapper. It uses pings, SNMP, and synthetic transactions to monitor the network infrastructure (routers, switches, and WAN circuits), servers (web, mail, radius, ldap, etc.) and most other networked devices.
[*] A separate InterMapper Remote license so the network manager can see what’s happening from a remote location.
[*] A twelve-month maintenance contract for the software

“With the new InterMapper Appliance, my clients can have a full time Network Administrator, without the cost of a full time network admin, keeping their network running and up 100% of the time,” adds James Dennis, an Apple Consultant Network member.
