Cartooner 1.0 Video Effects Processor
I’ve released an improved version of my ADHOC 2005 Showcase hack as Cartooner 1.0, a free open source application. Cartooner requires an iSight and will add various special effects to the iSight video, which you can optionally save to a QuickTime movie. Cartooner may work with other firewire devices, although I’ve only tested it with an iSight.
Cartooner uses Apple’s sample code for movie recording, and two of the Quartz composition effects are based on code by Sam Kass. The application & source code can be downloaded here. Enjoy!
