Xeric Design, Ltd. announces the immediate availability of EarthDesk 3.0.2, the latest update to the wildly popular dynamic desktop map application.
EarthDesk replaces your static desktop picture with an animated, real-time
rendered image of the Earth, continuously updating in the background while
you work. The software supports eleven different map projections, political
and satellite views, and renders accurate sun, moon and city lighting.
EarthDesk is the only application of its kind to support both accurate moonlight and multiple monitors.

EarthDesk 3.0.2 adds a new city database and improves overall performance in some situations. The software requires a Mac computer with MacOS X 10.2+.
Single user copies of EarthDesk may be purchased online for $19.95 while
licensed users of any previous version of EarthDesk are eligible to
upgrade to version 3.0 for $9.95.
