ADC publishes Aspyr’s Intel porting article

Apple Developer Connection has published Aspyr’s Universal Binaries Experience: Bringing Games to Intel-based Macs in which they describe their porting experience.

In my own experience, the biggest problem has been dealing with binary data which needs to be byte swapped. Since I was already using XCode with GCC 3.3, moving to GCC 4.0 wasn’t too painful although the compiler is a lot more strict with C++ standards resulting in lots of new compilation errors.

For anyone else working on an Intel port, discuss it in this forum.
