Lasso users can quickly add blogs to their Web sites by downloading the solution directly from OmniPilot’s Web site. Blogs are sites that document particular views, ideas or opinions over time. Each blog tells a story and allows the reader to comment on the blog entry. They can usually attract a significant audience depending on the topic being discussed.

The Lasso Blog solution teaches beginners and advanced users alike how to create an online diary, or web log. Once authenticated, a user is permitted to create new entries for their personal blog. Each entry consists of a time-stamp, a title, and a message body. Other users are permitted to post comments related to the entry. The solution requires Lasso Professional 8, and utilizes the built-in SQLite database for data storage. The Blog solution is built using CSS and XHTML.
