Apache Server Watcher preview R0.9.5 released

Kiel, Germany, the 1. April 2006 - turingart is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Apache Server Watcher [ASW], a network management solution.

ASW monitors network devices like [Apache] web-servers, file-servers, routers and other active network equipment. The new preview release integrates ASW more tightly with UNIX system tools.

The latest preview R0.9.5 adds farious functionality:

- Workbench: Freeform network drawing environment. Actively linked to devices in ASW’s device repository
- Workbench Commands: Executes UNIX-tools through Workbench item’s context menus
- Commands: DB: SQL-based repository for UNIX commands
- Network Scan: Discovers network devices and finally adds them to the repository
- Shell support: Interactive Basch, Csh, and Sh shells integration
- Growl support: Notifcations of device state changes through GROWL
- Enhanced manual

This preview is free but quits after 30 minutes of runtime and doesn’t save.
