Realmac Software Release RapidWeaver 3.6

Brighton, England - May 24th, 2007 - Realmac Software today announced a compelling new version of RapidWeaver, its award-winning website creation application for Mac OS X.

RapidWeaver 3.6 is full of exciting new features, such as a snippets manager to help handle frequently used code which can simply be dragged and dropped onto the page, and a richer blogging engine.

It also makes customising your themes much simpler. Instead of having to get your hands dirty with HTML or CSS, the new Themes Styles feature allows users to pick and choose the colours as well as the layout of their site.

The Flash slideshow feature, which has been a hit since its introduction in RapidWeaver 3.2, has been completely re-written, and now offers different transitions, background audio, and the Ken Burns effect. While iPhoto integration remains, a new option has been included to allow users of the Flickr photo sharing service to use their Flickr-hosted photos in the slideshow simply by entering their photostream's RSS feed into RapidWeaver.

Third-party developers can take advantage of the all-new website by listing their plugins, themes and snippets, and Realmac Sofware has set up a dedicated area of the site to encourage more CSS gurus and Cocoa geniuses to leverage the power of the Theme and Plugin SDKs.
