Studiometry 4.1.5 features drastic performance improvements to two areas of the program. Oranged Software has been spending much time working on improving the performance of Studiometry 4.x to prevent users from feeling “forced” into upgrading to Studiometry 5 when it is released simply for specific performance reasons.
[B]Network Syncing at Startup[/B]
Many users have reported slower than optimal network syncing when launching Studiometry. Some users, even with large bandwidth networks and high-performance machines, would have to wait minutes for the full sync to be accomplished. We’ve spent much time optimizing code and testing specific setups with our in-house test data as well as submitted user data, and we’re glad to be able to say we’ve dramatically improved initial sync times. [B]Visual Invoice Template Loading[/B]
We’ve also gotten feedback from users regarding sluggish loading of Visual Invoice Templates for editing templates and generating Invoices. After spending much time optimizing the code for loading and viewing the Visual Templates, we can now say there are equally drastic performance improvements in this area.
