New Macintosh help site for beginners

Scott Haneda and Caroline Merchiers have started a new Macintosh help website, OS X Help, aimed at beginners. The new site is designed for the beginning Mac user, whether they just purchased their first computer or just their first Macintosh, and covers everything that has to do with setting up and using their new Mac, no matter how small. The goal was to build a site that wasn't overwhelming and confusing for the first time Mac user, and where there would never be any "stupid questions."

"40% of Apple's retail sales are represented by 'switchers'. It would be safe to assume that another portion of Mac sales are made by users new to computers entirely.", said Caroline Merchiers. "Last time I checked, Macs come with a rather bare bones instruction manual, if they come with anything at all. While most of us feel OS X is designed so well, it is self documenting, not all users have such an easy time."
