According to Lead Caster Larry Pollock, MacSupportCasts’ easy-to-use video tutorials just got even easier to use, thanks to the recent homepage redesign. “We’ve moved the blog away from the homepage and replaced it with a nice static page where users can quickly access important information, promotions, notices, along with a variety of ways for people to easily connect with us,” Pollock says. “Visitors will also see an overview of the latest promotions and offers without having to go looking for them or visit a special page, as well as quick access to our blog, Facebook fan page, newsletter, Twitter, and RSS feed.”

The MacSupportCasts video tutorials (also known as Video Casts or simply “casts”) begin with the fundamentals of using a Mac computer and then move into more detailed training on each application that is included with a Mac. Each application-specific tutorial is presented in the same manner as the initial introductory casts and covers the basics of using the application menus, buttons, preferences, templates (where applicable) and other details where appropriate.
Members of MacSupportCasts have unlimited access to the video tutorial library. New or updated tutorials are added each week. Initial focus has been on providing tutorials for all applications that come on the Mac. Selected third party applications will be added to the lineup to help Mac users extend their capabilities. Applications such as 1Password, are used by the owners of MacSupportCasts to help keep their “digital life” organized and secure.
