Mireth Technology Corp. has released a new version of Music Man, its Mac OS X ripper, converter, burner, player digital music software. Version 2.7 of Music Man adds enhanced WMA Support, DVD-Audio burning capability and OS X 10.5 compatibility.

With this release, Music Man enhances support of WMA to include support for WMA9. Although a WMA file originally only contained a single audio track encoded with the Windows Media Audio (WMA) codec, with the introduction of WMA 9, it may now contain a single audio track in one of four codecs: Windows Media Audio (WMA), Windows Media Audio Pro (WMA Pro), Windows Media Audio Lossless (WMA Lossless), Windows Media Audio Voice (WMA Voice).
