Austin, Texas – Mac-Chi today is proud to announce WhoPaste’s first step in time and task integration. WhoPaste version 4.5 adds instant iCal To Dos. The new iCal To Dos can be created with just a control click on Snow Leopard or with a user configurable hot key on Leopard. Mac-Chi has also enhanced the underlying data model and simplified the installation process. The earlier two-step installation process has been replaced with the more familiar and customer-friendly ‘drop a file on a folder’ process.

“This is our first step in bringing full task and event capabilities to WhoPaste,” explains Steve Cronin, CEO of Mac-Chi. Snow Leopard users can easily create an iCal To Do by simply control clicking on any selected text. A small heads up display window opens to gather the user’s calendar and due date information and when it is disposed of the user is immediately returned to their process. For Leopard users there is a configurable hot key that permits them to create a To Do from any text on the clipboard. For those cases when you come up with brand new task, WhoPaste 4.5 delivers a single hot key for creating an iCal To Do. None of these actions require iCal to be running nor will they start iCal.

“When we analyzed our 2009 download and installation data we thought we could do better. So we asked our customers and testers to share their opinions. As a result of their feedback we’ve completely rewritten the installation process”, explained Steve. “The original two-step installation process sometimes led to confusion or abandonment, two of the deadly sins in the indie software world.” Version 4.5 now uses the familiar ‘drop-a-file’ mechanism.

Version 4.5 also implements a number of changes to the underlying data model paving the way for more sophisticated extraction rules to be deployed in the coming months. The new model is being implemented now in order to provide the basis for both the desktop and the upcoming iPhone version of WhoPaste.

WhoPaste provides a single universal hot key for creating a new contact in Address Book, Daylite, Entourage, or Google Contacts.

WhoPaste also provides contact extraction from raw text – simply select some text, control-click, and WhoPaste will extract the individual contact data elements automatically.

Additional WhoPaste features include: extraction of multiple contacts directly from spreadsheets, extensive support for Daylite including derived data and opportunity creation, duplicate detection, multiple group assignments, citation capability for data sourcing, international dialing ready phone formatting, pre-built Automator actions, AppleScriptability, and much more.

If you are not in a competitive mood there is a single-player offline mode, with the local questions database updated with new questions regularly.

To spice up your quizzing, look out for tournaments with valuable prizes. Not only do you defeat your competitors but learn interesting facts as well. Really, what’s the point of getting on TV when you can get all the gaming fun and substantial rewards at the tap of your fingers with Quizarium? Invite your friends to join your game and play till you believe you know everything. Get Quizarium for free, exercise your brain, and win!

Quizarium will have weekly top player lists, the winners will be determined every week on Monday night. The first short week’s (Mar 12 to Mar 15) 5 top players will get iTunes Store gift cards (a $50 card for the winner, $20 for the second place and $10 cards for the next three players). On the second week 10 top players will be awarded with more gift cards. The third week’s contest will be special: the trophy for the first place will be an Apple iPad. And of course there will be even more interesting prizes in the future. Don’t miss your chance to become a winner!

Everett, Washington – Most iPhone magic apps use unsatisfying virtual playing cards, but Renditions Design’s “Magic Card” uses a real deck of cards and the iPhone’s camera to create the convincing illusion that Apple’s amazing device came with the power to see through cards. Although popular with professional magicians, the clever secret is actually easy enough for anyone to do on their first try. This week Magic Card was completely re-written to incorporate the latest iPhone OS improvements, and the price was lowered to $2.99 for a short time.

Company founder Dylan Malone, who has studied magic since childhood, saw the iPhone as the perfect magic gadget from the instant it was unveiled. Now Apple seems to have caught on. “Apple markets their newest iPhone OS device as, ‘a magical and revolutionary product,’ and I couldn’t agree more,” said Malone with a smile. “But they did need a few good magic apps to make these products as magical as the tagline.”

What the trick looks like: A spectator chooses a card and places it face down on the table. They pick the iPhone up, wake it from sleep, and launch the camera app. Then the performer, explaining that the iPhone seems to be able to do almost anything, snaps a picture of the back of the card and shows it around. Finally, they start to slowly shake the phone until suddenly the spectator realizes that their card is now face up in the photo, revealing their choice!

Feature Highlghts:
* Simple to follow built-in instructions (with pictures)
* Elegant, straightforward method that works equally well for beginners or professional magicians
* Uses the latest features of the iPhone OS to make the trick even easier
* Requires no sleight of hand
* Works with all iPhone camera models

Although Magic Card 2.0.1, the latest release from Renditions Design, is normally advertised on magician’s websites and podcasts, the joy of performance shouldn’t be left entirely to the professionals. There are excellent effects that anyone can do with an iPhone and only a few moments practice. Magic Card can serve as an introduction to the art of magic for thousands of people.

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPhone
* iPod touch not supported – this is a camera trick
* Requires iPhone OS 3.1 or later
* 5.3 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Magic Card 2.0.1 is currently $2.99 (USD) and available exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category.

Raleigh, North Carolina – Pariahware, Inc. today is pleased to announce the release of Biblicious 1.0, a game for iPhone and iPod touch. When launched, the player can choose a single player game, a practice game, or a fill in the blank game, called Mix and Match. The player can choose from a 10 question game to a 50 question game, as well as questions from the Old or New Testaments, or the entire Bible.

“Biblicious if finally here, and it simply fun!”, stated Christian Miller, President of Pariahware, Inc. “Biblicious will make you laugh while you are learning, whether by yourself, or in a group. Since there is no lite version available, interested parties can see the game in action by visiting the Biblicious web site.”

When Biblicious is launched, Flip Ant, the game show host, will introduce himself. After a game mode is chosen, he will ask you the number of questions you wish to play, and from where in the Bible, you’d like the questions to originate… the Old Testament, New Testament, or the entire Bible. From there, you can listen while Flip explains the rules of the selected game type. There are three styles of play.

Single Player mode presents the question, the multiple choice answers, and manna reward. When Flip finishes reading them to you, the manna begins to decrease. After some time, the wrong answers will begin to disappear to help the player choose the correct one. If answered correctly, the remaining manna is added to the score. Answered incorrectly, and that amount of manna is deducted. The object of the game is to collect Manna by answering the presented questions correctly so you can enter your name in the Manna Leaderboard.

Practice mode is similar to Single Player mode except that there is no time limit, and is not ranked on the Manna Leaderboard. This mode allows for discussion in a group setting, or the ability to research and look up the correct answer.

The Mix and Match game displays a Bible passage on the screen with a missing word a possible answers float by. Choose the correct answer to gain manna. It is a quick 10 question game when there isn’t much time to play.

In addition to the three game modes available, Biblicious gives fans the ability to visit the Pariahware Schwag Store where items that have the Biblicious or Pariahware logo on them can be acquired. New questions can also be submitted for possible inclusion. And, users can sign up for the Pariahware Newsletter, follow Pariahware on Twitter, or become a Pariahware Fan on Facebook.

Lugo, Spain – Small Wonders S.L. has just added more unlockable content to Battle of Puppets 1.2.2, their fascinatingly odd and original, linear strategy game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Adding to the recently included OpenFeint leaderboard and achievement integration, AI improvements and harder difficulty levels, Small Wonders has been working to include all of the most requested features to Battle of Puppets. Also, in celebration of the update Battle of Puppets is now only $0.99 permanently!

Touting a vibrant artistic style, Battle of Puppets combines beautiful graphics, the hallowed art of puppetry, and ruthless combat! Its players are cast as silent puppeteers, who must strategically control their hordes of marionette minions as they battle across a series of 22 American theatres on their quest for Broadway acclaim. All 22 theatres have custom operatic backdrops of famous landmarks, and now each one has a global leaderboard through OpenFeint.

To destroy the opposing forces and win the affection of the crowd, players must travel across the country, tactfully building units, upgrading their castle and outposts, and even casting spells or “professions” by using written gestures. As the campaigns progress, players can unlock all 6 professions, learning to repair their troops, mind control the enemy, boo the opposition, and more!

Players choose one of 5 operas that vary significantly in terms of relative strengths and weaknesses, unit types, building speeds, and most interestingly, how they are affected by changing weather conditions. Now players can unlock custom artwork when they beat the game with each opera!

Juan Diego Gallego, CEO of Small Wonders, says, “our team has been working hard to include all the features that players have requested, and we’re dedicated to making BOP a more fun and beautiful game for them!” Small Wonders’ commitment to iteration has been evident so far. An all new tutorial system was implemented just one week after launch, and this update comes only weeks after the addition of AI improvements, achievement integration, and new leaderboards!

Feature Highlights:
* New Unlockable content

Open Feint Integration:
* Global leaderboards with an overall score and for each of the 22 cities
* 25 fun and challenging achievements (some to unlock)
* Compare scores with freinds as well as the whole community

Maps:
* 22 unique locations, each with changing backdrops for day and night

Armies:
* play as any of the 5 different armies, each representing famous operas
* 20 distinctive unit types

Modes:
* 3 game-play modes
* 3 difficulty levels
* 3 distict user profiles
