[ad_1]
Apple was sued by Seven Networks in April 2019 for alleged patent infringement. The lawsuit was filed in the lawsuit-friendly Eastern District Court of Texas. Seven’s suit asserts multiple Apple technologies are in violation of owned intellectual property. From Apple’s Push Notification Service to automatic App Store downloads, background refresh and iPhone’s “Low Battery” warning, the legal action covers a suite of iOS and macOS features, as well as the devices that run those operating systems. The plaintiff wants a jury trial in the matter.
Seven Networks is a Texas-based company with about 265 employees. It develops “develops innovative software solutions that deliver device-centric mobile traffic management and analytics for wireless carriers.”
