Super Awesome Mix hits your earbuds March 5th prMac

[prMac.com] Dallas, Texas – Super Awesome Mix LLC is incredibly excited to announce the launch of Super Awesome Mix (SAM), a new iPhone app coming March 8, 2021. Created by two co-founders, Samer Abousalbi and Matt Sidhom, who were interested in capturing the lost art of making someone a mix-tape, SAM is all about bringing back the creativity and constraints that went into generating the perfect mix for someone to enjoy, and to capturing the shared soundtrack between two or more people. Version 1.0 walks users through the key flow for creating & sending a mix:

* Name The Mix – Titles can be up to [x] characters (the length of a cassette case)
* Add A Playlist Image – Choose from a growing library of illustrations to act as cover art for the mix
* Curate The Music – Search Apple Music, and add up to 75 minutes of music — borrowing the limit set by old cassette tapes
Personalize It:
* Add an introductory note to the general mix
* Add a written note to each track, sharing a memory or fondness for the song, and why it’s on the mix
* Add up to a 30 second voice introduction to the mix, with an optional $0.99 In-App Purchase per mix
Finalize It – Review the mix, “lock the mix”, and send it to the lucky recipient

Once locked, the mix cannot be changed, and will live as a shared memory between the creator and listener(s), again copying the magic of old mix tape sharing. Super Awesome Mix is a celebration of music, a celebration of mix tapes, and a celebration of the story telling power of creating mixes for one another.

Super Awesome Mix 1.0 will be available as a free download on Apple’s App Store starting on Friday March 8, 2021. It requires an active Apple Music subscription to work. Premium features currently include an optional $0.99 In-App Purchase which can be made per mix to allow for a 30 second voice introduction to be added and sent along the tracks.
