Output Factory for Adobe InDesign Now Supports macOS Dark Mode prMac

[prMac.com] Toronto (ON), Canada – Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 2.4.56, a feature update to company’s output automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory solves the problem of time consuming manual output production from InDesign through automation of printing, exporting, preflighting and other repetitive tasks. The software helps users eliminate ineffective manual operations and costly errors through batch processing with time-saving output options.
The new version adds support for Dark Mode on macOS Mojave and later, which is favored by some users who find it helpful to stay focused, reduce eye fatigue in low light environments and avoid the blinding light of a screen. Following the example of InDesign itself, Output Factory also features an option to select between the light and dark mode independently of the one applied in the system preferences.
As another UI adjustment, the informational help text for certain functions now appears in their own custom windows instead of Mac’s standard alert dialogs. This was done to avoid the detrimental affect on text legibility by redesigned alert dialogs on macOS Big Sur. The new dialog design caused outrage among Mac users with many users and developers calling for Apple to restore the dialog appearance featured in previous versions of macOS. Output Factory supports all major output formats and offers the following key features:
* Output multiple InDesign files with a single click
* Export as single pages
* Choose between print, PDF, PostScript, EPS, TIFF, HTML and other formats
* Layer versioning
* Variable output file names
* Output to several formats at once
* Automatic preflight
* Send output files to FTP and other servers
Pricing and Availability:
Output Factory can be purchased from Zevrix website for $170 USD (Lite version $120), as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for the users of Output Factory 2.x, and $85 to upgrade from Output Factory 1.x and BatchOutput. Output Factory requires macOS 10.9-11 and Adobe InDesign CS6-2021.
