The app allows folks to talk and sing to people around the world, recording up to 60 seconds of audio for upload to Vweeter servers.

To send an audio message in the Vweeter – Voice Forum app, simply select a pre-existing channel, or create a new one. Then, tap and hold the big orange button to record 5 to 60 seconds of audio. Then, let go of the button to upload the recording to a Vweeter streaming server. The recording can then be listened to by thousands of other users on the service.

Once a recording is uploaded, it is queued for listening to other channel users, with a message informing the user about the approximate amount of time that will pass before the whole world can listen to the recording. When no new voices are being recorded to the channel’s conversation, the previous 20 recordings are played in a loop.

By logging in, users can favorite channels, ensuring they can continue to participate in conversations.

Vweeter allows users to sing their favorite songs, comment about world events, start important (or fun) conversations, or just “yell down a gopher hole” to blow off some steam. No matter what type of audio message they post, users are almost sure to make new friends from around the globe.
