Stacks (its documents are stacks of cards) inspired by Bill’s trip (allegedly inspired by Bill Atkinson’s LSD trip) went wild (originally called WildCard, its ID was WILD) in 1987 (when it was released), but died before Mac OS X (it was never ported to Mac OS X).

2: Climber’s extender for 2D graphics before quartz.
