Viable, ViableS and Vimy updates to fix a bug
If you’ve been using any of my free macOS virtualisation apps – Viable, ViableS or Vimy – you might have run into a bug, which was kindly reported to me by Jon. When any of them has a VM running in a window, and you have minimised that window into the Dock, restoring that window results in strange behaviour. In Viable and ViableS, you’re unaccountably prompted to open a new VM, which you can readily cancel and continue using the one that’s already open. But in Vimy, when you restore the window the VM either crashes or reboots.
I have now fixed that bug, and am delighted to release updated versions as follows:
Viable 1.0b12 is available from here: viable1b12
ViableS 1.0b12 is available from here: viables1b12
Vimy 0.7 is available from here: vimy07
and all three are available from Downloads above, and from their Product Page.
Each of these was built in record time on my new MacBook Pro M3 Pro.
Happy Thanksgiving Day to all who celebrate it!
