A reference to an unreleased “Apple Pencil Pro” has been spotted in the code for Apple’s homepage in Japan. We have independently confirmed that this code exists as of the time this story was published, but it might be removed after being found.

This finding suggests that an Apple Pencil Pro could be announced at the Apple Event tomorrow. Rumored features for the next Apple Pencil include a new “squeeze” gesture and haptic feedback, and Vision Pro support is also a possibility by visionOS 2.
