Taskbar is a Dock replacement that shows individual items for every application’s window, similar to Microsoft Windows’s taskbar. Taskbar makes multi-tasking much easier as it’s possible to switch between windows with a single mouse click on window items that are all always visible, as opposed to the built-in Dock’s requirement to right-click and select the desired window from an unintuitive text menu that contains the list of the application’s windows. Other Taskbar features include window thumbnails, application launching using pins, workspace support, and window and app controls using the context menu.
