SilentKnight 2.9 and Skint 1.07 updates restore auto-update

I’m delighted to provide new versions of my popular utilities SilentKnight and Skint, bringing them to versions 2.9 and 1.07 respectively.

These updates fix problems with auto-updating in the previous releases, although because those can’t be applied retrospectively, normal auto-updating won’t occur until the release of the next version. At least these should detect that automatically and offer you the update as intended.

I have taken the opportunity to add an extra page to SilentKnight’s Help reference, to explain the advanced security settings of Apple silicon Macs. I have also tested these on the first developer beta of Sequoia, where they work as expected.
