Fox, Disney, Warner Bros Discovery’s ‘Venu Sports’ service priced at $42.99/month
Venu Sports — the streaming service formed by Walt Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros Discovery — will cost subscribers $42.99 per month, it said on Thursday. Venu Sports bundles the trio’s portfolio of sports rights including the National Football League, the National Basketball Association and the FIFA World Cup.
The service will be offered via an app and subscribers can opt to bundle the service with Disney+, Hulu, or Max.
Reuters:
“The streaming service will provide access to 14 live sports channels and an expansive library of on-demand content from the collective companies’ portfolios of sports networks and ESPN+,” Venu Sports said.
Venu Sports, led by former Apple executive Pete Distad, is aiming for 5 million subscribers in the first five years following its launch in the United States this fall.
