Apple’s new M4 MacBook Pro launch may be coming soon
Display shipment reports from inside Apple’s supply chain could indicate an impending launch of the new M4 MacBook Pro lineup.
Malcolm Owen for AppleInsider:
According to a now-deleted post to X by Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young on Thursday, panel shipments started in July and August for the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Young adds that a Q4 launch for the M4-equipped models “makes sense” based on these shipments. This is a fairly good assumption, given the months-long component lead time for a MacBook Pro refresh.
The analyst’s comments also give hope to other Mac models also getting their fall updates, possibly in a September or October event.
MacDailyNews Take: A special media event that unveils the M4 MacBook Pro, all-new, tiny M4 Mac mini, and M4-powered iMacs would make for a huge Mac Christmas 2024!
