MacDailyNews site note: Readers must now be registered and logged in to comment

Spammers (so many spammers), off topic rants (political and otherwise), ad hominem attacks, we’ve all suffered them here as we tried to keep the comment section open to everyone who visits.

Based on growing reader feedback and confirmed by the results of a poll of our paid substack subscribers, we will now require those who wish to comment to be registered and logged in.

The poll on our substack asked our paid subscribers:

On MacDailyNews.com, should we require logins for comments – no more anonymous comments?

• Yes – 66%
• No – 23%
• Unsure – 10%

Accordingly, now MacDailyNews.com readers must now be registered and logged in to comment on this site.

This will hopefully go a long way to making our comment section below articles much more useful and less cluttered with flotsam and jetsam.

Anyone can quickly and easily register here: https://macdailynews.com/wp-login.php?action=register

Paid subscribers can also, of course, comment on MacDailyNews on Substack.

Thank you for visiting and, especially, thank you to our substack subscribers who are helping to keep MacDailyNews publishing.
