Meta bans Russian media outlet RT and others, citing ‘foreign interference activity’
Meta, the social media giant that operates Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp, among others, announced Monday that it had banned RT and other Russian state media outlets from its platforms, citing ‘foreign interference activity’ in US elections.
