Apple to donate to Hurricane Helene relief efforts

Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company will donate to relief efforts in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.

We’re thinking of all those facing the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Apple will be making a donation to help with relief efforts on the ground.

The Category 4 hurricane made landfall on September 26th, resulting in over 500 miles of damage and claiming the lives of more than 100 people. Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina were among the hardest-hit areas.

Cook’s announcement, made on X, follows Apple’s tradition of providing aid after natural disasters. In May, the company pledged donations to support flood relief efforts in Brazil.
