Ticketmaster is first to enable Apple Wallet’s new, enhanced ticket feature

Ticketmaster has become the first ticketing company to leverage Apple Wallet’s new ticketing features. These enhanced tickets provide fans with convenient access to essential event information, including venue maps, parking details, Apple Music playlists, and location sharing for easy meet-ups with friends.

Venues and teams can further customize the ticket experience by adding links to their apps or websites, offering fans a seamless way to access additional event-related information.

“With the new, enhanced ticket in Apple Wallet experience, fans are closer to the action from the moment they add their pass to their iPhone,” said Mark Yovich, President at Ticketmaster, in a statement. “We’re extremely proud to work with Apple to bring this enhanced ticketing experience to fans.”

Key Features of the New Ticket Experience:

• Customized Designs: Tickets will feature unique designs tailored to the specific event, immersing fans in the gameday experience.

• Easy Access to Information: Fans can effortlessly access key venue details, purchase merchandise, and manage their tickets within the Ticketmaster app, all from the convenience of their Apple Wallet.

MacDailyNews Note: The new ticket experience will debut with the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) home game at BMO Stadium on Saturday, October 19th. Fans using iOS 18.0 or later can add their tickets to Apple Wallet through the Ticketmaster app or the LAFC team app. This offering complements existing ticketing tools like Ticketmaster Ignite, providing a comprehensive multi-channel connection between venues, teams, and fans.

The Miami HEAT will be the next team to adopt the new ticket experience, followed by a wider rollout by Ticketmaster in 2025.
