Let’s see if this $19 lifetime ad blocker can stop me from making impulse purchases

Macworld

My bank statements inform me it’s time to invest in a better ad blocker. It’s just that ads work extremely well on me. When I see a big banner across some site advertising expensive twinkle lights or indestructible utility knives, something happens, and suddenly, there’s a package at the door.

I’m hoping a lifetime subscription to AdGuard saves me from going broke. Good thing it’s only $18.97 (reg. $79). I saw an ad for a fancy blender, and suddenly, my budget went down.

Here’s what AdGuard does that I’m excited about:

First, it works on all major platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS) and the lifetime subscription covers up to 9 devices.

Once I connect my devices to my account, I can use AdGuard to get rid of banners, pop-ups, and video ads. I’m looking forward to seeing what the internet looks like without all that clutter, and I’m also looking forward to not worrying about trackers and malware.

And if I had kids, I could even use AdGuard to filter the content they see. Unfortunately, I only have a cat, and, to my knowledge, she doesn’t even have an email address.

This plan lasts for life with no recurring costs.

If you want to get rid of ads, get an AdGuard Family Lifetime Subscription for $18.97.
