Apple releases Beats Solo Buds firmware update
Apple has released a new firmware update for the Beats Solo Buds, bringing the build number to 3A130. While the specific details of the update remain undisclosed, it is likely focused on bug fixes and performance improvements rather than introducing new features.
The Beats Solo Buds, launched in April 2024, offer a comfortable and ergonomic design with custom acoustic architecture. However, they lack the Active Noise Cancellation feature found in higher-end models like the AirPods Pro 2.
Unlike many other Apple products, Beats audio accessories do not allow for manual firmware updates. Instead, updates are automatically installed in the background while the device is connected to an iPhone, iPad, or Android device and plugged into a power source. Users can check the current firmware version through the Bluetooth settings on their devices.
MacDailyNews Note: On a Mac running macOS Ventura and later, go to System Settings > Bluetooth and click the Beats Solo Buds’ coresponding Info button.
