Apple Intelligence on iPhone, Mac, and iPad.

Apple Intelligence is the personal intelligence system integrated into iOS 18. It merges the capabilities of generative models with insights from your personal context to provide intelligence that is both useful and pertinent. This system is engineered to comprehend and generate language and visuals; manage and summarize notifications, emails, and messages; and utilize personal data on your device to streamline and expedite daily activities, all while safeguarding your privacy.

Supported devices:

• Apple Intelligence is available in iOS 18.1 or later on all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max; in iPadOS 18.1 or later on iPad models with M1 or later and iPad mini (A17 Pro); and in macOS 15.1 or later on Mac models with M1 or later.

iPhone and iPad:

Availability: Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to English in most regions around the world. For more information, see the Apple Support article Apple Intelligence requirements.

Turn Apple Intelligence on: With iOS 18.3 and later, Apple Intelligence is on by default and integrated across features in your apps. If you have an earlier version of iOS 18 (or if you previously turned off Apple Intelligence), go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri, then tap Get Apple Intelligence.

Turn Apple Intelligence off: Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri, then tap the button next to Apple Intelligence.

Mac:

Turn Apple Intelligence on: With macOS 15.3 or later, Apple Intelligence is on by default and integrated across features in your apps. If you have an earlier version of macOS 15 (or if you previously turned off Apple Intelligence), choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Apple Intelligence & Siri, then click Get Apple Intelligence.

Turn Apple Intelligence off: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Apple Intelligence & Siri, then click the button next to Apple Intelligence.
