New Apple Card promo is for a six-month free trial of Uber One
Apple Card holders are eligible for a six-month free trial of the Uber One service thanks to a new promo from Apple.
Uber One is a subscription option that gives you access to benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats. There are monthly memberships available for $9.99 and annual memberships at $96.
Uber One also has partnerships with third parties that offer a discounted membership to eligible users. Uber One members receive a $0 Delivery Fee plus up to 10% off eligible orders on restaurants and stores marked with the Uber One icon.
According to Apple, the Uber One benefit for Apple Card is worth $9.99 per month, so the free trial is a $60 value. The six-month free trial will auto-renew at $9.99 per month after the trial period if the subscription is not canceled.
A membership can be canceled in the Uber One section of the Uber app by going to Manage Membership and selecting the End Membership option. Apple Card owners can cancel before the six month trial ends and still get the full six months free.
To get the deal, Apple Card holders need to use the exclusive link provided in the email about the promotion to sign up for an Uber One monthly subscription, using an Apple Card and Apple Pay as the payment method.
And speaking of the Apple Card, Apple says in a new Daily Cash support document that starting on July 1 using Apple Card with Apple Pay at T-Mobile will provide only 2% cash back, instead of the bonus 3% cash back.
