Apple TV+’s hit, and critically acclaimed series, “Severance,” has generated more than US$200 million for Apple, according to Deadline

The second season of “Severance” arrived on Apple’s streaming service, and research from Parrot Analytics says the first season generated more than $200 million for the tech giant. According to Deadline, Parrot came to these figures via its Content Valuation methodology, which uses a formula to correlate audience demand with subscribers and therefore revenue. The system also examines how shows and movies generate value for streamers in markets across the globe.

According to Parrot, “Severance” is doing well compared with Apple hits like “Slow Horses” and “The Morning Show.” The former generated $184.8 million during a similar timeframe to the first season of “Severance,” while the latter made $299.4 million but across a much longer period of time. From the third quarter of 2020 to quarter three of 2024, “Ted Lasso,” generated $609.4 million, according to Parrot Analytics.
