I got them both online at once?

Apple at last plans to liberate everyone who travels from pernickety Wi-Fi sign-up hell, making it possible to sign into networks once and then share access across all the devices. Anyone who has ever endured the grim misery of signing up to hotel Wi-Fi will likely emit a tiny cheer, once the feature appears in iOS 19.

Shared access

While it’s not the biggest thing to get excited about In some terms, the number of people it will impact is very large. The convenience such a feature may provide will make it much easier for travellers to get multiple devices online on the road.

You have probably used the networks in coffee shops, hotels, and airports, and been somewhat annoyed when you and your entire family have needed to login. Now you should only need to logon once to sync across multiple devices, said Mark Gurman.

This will apparently be a feature within iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, all of which will be announced at WWDC this month and likely published this fall. Take a look at Apple tips here.
